UTERDelete your Fish Scouter account
You can delete your Fish Scouter account, and the data that goes with it, at any time — on this page or in the Fish Scouter app for iPhone and Android. It happens straight away; nobody has to approve it.
In the app
- Open Fish Scouter and sign in.
- Tap You.
- Scroll to the bottom, tap Delete account, type DELETE and confirm.

What is deleted
- Your sign-in: email, name, password, passkeys and sign-in codes.
- Your home water, boat profile and app settings saved to your account.
- Every spot you saved or imported, and every catch you logged, with its photo.
- Your membership subscription, which is cancelled at once — you won’t be charged again.
What is kept
Tackle orders. The shop must keep a record of each sale for tax and accounting, so an order keeps its items, totals, date and the delivery city, state and ZIP — but your name, street address, phone and email are removed from it in Fish Scouter. The shop’s own copy of the sale in its store and accounting system (the invoice and what was shipped where) is kept as its sales record, and payment records held by Stripe are kept under Stripe’s own legal obligations.
