About Fish Scouter
Fish Scouter is a fishing forecast app for the United States. For the water you are on, it scores every species 0–100 for this hour and says why — the season, water temperature, the moving tide, low light, pressure and wind — and puts NOAA tides, live water temperature, a wind and sea outlook and 173,000+ charted public fishing spots on a satellite map. It is made by Florida Tackle Supply, a fishing tackle maker and distributor in Sarasota, Florida — rigs tied and jigs poured in-house.

Questions
What is Fish Scouter?
Fish Scouter is a fishing forecast app for the United States. For the water you are on it scores every species 0–100 for this hour and says why — season, water temperature, the tide, low light, pressure and wind — and shows NOAA tides, live water temperature, a 3- or 7-day wind and sea outlook, and charted public fishing spots on a satellite map.
Who makes Fish Scouter?
Fish Scouter is made by Florida Tackle Supply, a fishing tackle maker and distributor in Sarasota, Florida — rigs tied and jigs poured in-house. The company behind it is One Flow LLC, Sarasota, FL.
How much does Fish Scouter cost?
Fish Scouter has three plans: Angler $9.99, Captain $19.99 and Guide $39.99 a month. Paying yearly is 20% off, and every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. There is no free-forever tier.
Where do Fish Scouter's fishing spots come from?
Public sources: charted wrecks, obstructions and rocks from NOAA's electronic navigational charts; state artificial reefs and fish attractors; boat ramps, piers, fishable bridges, jetties, seawalls, beach access and kayak launches — 173,000+ in all. Your own marks come from you and stay private.
Is Fish Scouter a navigation chart?
No. Fish Scouter is a fishing aid. It shows NOAA bathymetry shading and depth contours to find structure, but it is not for navigation — use a proper chart and your plotter to run the boat.
Can other anglers see my spots on Fish Scouter?
No. Your saved spots are private. A catch you log shows on the feed only as a general area, rounded to about three-quarters of a mile, never the exact position.
