About

The mudfish: a living fossil with a long dorsal fin and a mouthful of teeth in every swamp and slough, that hits a bass lure like a bull and fights dirty. Nobody eats them. Everybody remembers them.

How to fish it

You catch them bass fishing. To target them, a chunk of cut bait on the bottom in a swampy canal. Pliers, always.
